Not Even a Winter “Bomb Cyclone” Can Chill Out Belichick

The mega-storm hitting the East Coast may have given the vast majority of New Englanders a “snow day,” but not your defending Super Bowl champs.  An SB Nation article details Bill Belichick’s policy on inclement weather, which is to say Belichick doesn’t give a lateness pass to his practices even during snow emergencies. Patriots special teams player Matthew Slater confirmed that Belichick has told the locker room several times that leaving travel time for terrible conditions is mandatory and lateness will entice consequences. Belichick has a track record, too: he once sent home star receiver Randy Moss because of weather-related tardiness.
